Hey all you BTHP supporters and fans! Thanks again for reading and coming back to explore our second BLOG!! It is so great to have you here to find out more about our upcoming events and opportunities to get INVOLVED!! Sooooooo, we have exciting news about our auditions for “Old School Living” a comedy written by Lisa Rawson. “Who doesn’t want to attend their high school reunion?” In this well written comedy, a group of past students attending their 45th reunion, in their recently vacated high school, decide to turn it into condos for seniors. “Yes and you can only imagine the fun to be had.” There is no end to the laughs and antics. Auditions in the theatre(upper level) Sunday February 16th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Thursday February 20th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Tuesday February 25th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm Production to take place in early May. Remember the address is 397 Simcoe Street Beaverton. “Hope to see you there.” “ Remember NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!” Our director Danielle is ready to turn you all into seniors enjoying life in a fun-loving environment full of activities. We have spent many years developing and promoting our brand, BTHP, and we still proudly present at least 6 events each year. So jump up off the couch and come on out for some fun and meet some great people from our community. “YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”

Here are the dates for our 2025 meetings which take place in the meeting room(main floor) of the town hall located at 397 Simcoe Street, Beaverton Ontario. All meetings are at 6:00pm and usually run for just over an hour. February 24th March 24th April 28th May - no scheduled meeting J une 23rd July - no scheduled meeting August 25th September 22nd October 27th November 24th December 8th The Beaverton Town Hall Players are known for bringing quality entertainment to Brock Township and surrounding areas for over 4 decades. Yet I still hear, “I didn’t even know we had a theatre,” or “Where is it?” It frightens me to hear this, but at the same time it encourages me to feel the need to reach out to people who have verbalized these comments. THERE IS NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Truer words have never been spoken. There are no expectations, other than meeting people that share your desire to try something new and slightly out of your comfort level. Believe me there is something for everyone! You may find a passion within yourself that you never knew existed, whether it be back stage, helping with sound operating a follow spot or changing the colours of the LED lights that add a special touch to a set. Perhaps you have a knack for marketing, makeup or costume design. Tracking down those props that are needed to complete a checklist. It could be an opportunity for that inner performer to surface and grace the stage in one of our upcoming productions. Maybe you have always wanted to sit in one of those directors chairs, share your dance moves in some choreography or be a producer. The possibilities are endless. DON’T DELAY!
